Southern Masts and Rigging Ltd
Mike Stevens and Southern Masts & Rigging has been a stalwart long term supporter of the Royal Escape Race. Each year he sings the praises of our race to his sail trade suppliers, who in turn catch his enthusiasm and come aboard with prizes.
It is thanks to SM&R that we are able to award another 'Boat full of boots" in 2011 with the entire crew of the top IRC boat getting a pair of Dubarry's... irrespective of how many people are on the yacht.
There are also prizes from International Paints, Ocean Safety, Spinlock, Hydes and of course Seldon. New for 2011 is a brilliant new cleaning device from Hullmate to be given away.
Although we are naturally biased, there really isn't another combined chandlery, rigger and sail loft in Brighton Marina - and don't forget you get free parking when you visit and they also open at the crack of dawn on race day just in case you've forgotten something.
